Do photography sessions include printing rights & social media rights?

YES! When you leave the session I want you to be able to PIN, POST, and PRINT anyway you would like!  Whether it is on Pinterest, Facebook or in a photo album, the printing rights give YOU, my client, the opportunity to share your session with family and friends no matter where they live!

Is there a mileage or lodging fee?

Each package includes mileage.  Weddings start at 100 included miles, and smaller sessions start at 10 included miles.  After that it is $0.50 per extra mile.  For overnight trips we ask that a hotel be provided for photographers for one night for weddings over 90 Miles (one way) from Decorah, and two nights for weddings over 150 miles (one way) from Decorah.

How long have you been taking photos?

I have been taking pictures since I was in elementaty school.  I started more of a career path toward this business in 2007 when I started working as a photographer at Luther College. When I graduated in January of 2010 I started a hobby photography business between finding a "real job" and, well, here we are!

Do you ever get sick of wedding cake?

No. Or ice cream. Or chocolate. Or tearing up the dance floor. You could pay me in dark chocolate and I wouldn't get mad. Unfortunately though, my kids and husband need to eat too and I don't think kids can actually live off of chocolate, as good as that sounds.....
